Mythologies of Mumbai

 Mythologies of Mumbai is an interactive documentary that explores the transformation of Mumbai’s mill lands, specifically Girangaon, through the personal narratives of the workers who shaped the area. The project, led by PUKAR, documents the area’s rich financial and cultural history.

The key challenge was capturing the complexity of Girangaon’s evolution while ensuring accessibility for a broad audience. The innovation lies in using 360-degree multimedia, photography, video, and historical records to create an immersive experience that offers fresh perspectives on Mumbai’s changing landscape.

I led the content and design teams for this large-scale project, overseeing both the creative and production aspects. My role involved ensuring cohesive storytelling, managing the integration of multimedia elements, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver a powerful, engaging interactive archive.
